The 2023 Weissbourd Annual Conference, Ethics and Nature in a Time of Crisis, will explore questions of value, as well as practical and normative issues, concerning human communities’ relationship with the environment and other animals in it.

This event is free and open to the public. It is presented by the Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts with support from 3CT; the Committee on Environment, Geography and Urbanization (CEGU), the Bernard Weissbourd Memorial Fund; the Committee on Social Thought; and the departments of History, Classics, Philosophy, and Political Science.
