Fall 2025 Critical Historical Studies Now Available

The Fall 2025 issue of Critical Historical Studies is now available from the University of Chicago Press and 3CT. This interdisciplinary journal is devoted to historical reflections on politics, culture, economy, and social life, and is edited by 3CT fellow William H. Sewell Jr. along with Jonathan Levy (Sciences Po), Andrew Sartori (New York University), and Judit Bodnár (Central European University).

The issue features two special forums: “Early Modern Monetary Relations,” with contributions from Andrew David Edwards, Ellen M. Nye, Joshua Batts, and Shweta S. Banerjee, and comment from Richard von Glahn; and “Re-Enchanting American History,” by Johann N. Neem, with responses from Lily Geismer and Gabriel Winant.
